New York, NY (July 31, 2012) – Luxury designer, Christian Siriano announced today the opening of his first 1000-square foot concept store in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood.  The store, which opened its doors for a soft launch in July, will officially open on September 5th. An accomplishment for any young designer, this comes on the heels of four successful years for Siriano and his luxury collection.

The Christian Siriano concept store, located at 252 Elizabeth Street will feature pieces from the designer’s luxury collection in addition to separates including tops, skirts, jackets and cocktail dresses created exclusively for the store. Other exclusive items not found anywhere else includes accessories, bags, wallets and home décor designed by Siriano.

The Christian Siriano collection, known for its unique, inspired looks can be found nationwide at retailers ranging from Neiman Marcus to specialty stores around the United States and can additionally be found internationally from Russia to Dubai. Now, for the first time ever, his collections will be available to consumers in his very own unique retail store in New York City where the line collection is designed, created and manufactured.

“I’m very excited to open my first retail concept store on Elizabeth Street in SoHo, a neighborhood which has always been a high end shopping destination.  I have always wanted to open a space where my customers can shop exclusive pieces curated by me and my team. The store is a great showcase for the collection to be seen each season, and I’m hoping this will be the first of many Christian Siriano retail locations!”

At 26 years old, Christian Siriano is quickly building both a luxury brand and a name for himself in the fashion community. Christian attended the Baltimore School for the Arts and studied fashion in London, where he interned with industry legends Vivienne Westwood and Alexander McQueen. Following the heels of Christian’s 2012 A/W collection, one of his most critically acclaimed, he will show his 9th ready-to-wear collection on September 8th. His designs have appeared in some of the most respected fashion magazines around the world. Christian has dressed stars of film, music, television, and fashion including Sarah Jessica Parker, Christina Ricci, Emily Blunt, Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift and Victoria Beckham.
